Welcome parents and families! Our main goal is to ensure that all CVUSD scholars are prepared to receive outstanding instruction and experience a positive school year. To help support student achievement, the following suggested school lists are provided for families to reference if and when purchasing supplies for their kids.

Please note that specific supplies may vary by grade, course, or school and are only suggestions.

Optional donations are greatly appreciated at all grade levels.
Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes are always helpful.

    Kinder supply list: all supplies will be kept at school

    • Plastic pencil box
    • Sharpened #2 pencils
    • Box of crayons 24 count (Crayola brand
    • Child scissors
    • 2 Glue sticks
    • Primary Journal Composition notebook (pages have space for drawing and lines for writing)
    • Headphones (no earbuds)

    Second Grade Suggested School Supply List for 2025-2026

    • 1/2 inch binder (Larger binders will not fit in their desks with their books.)
    • 2 pocket folders with holes to go inside the binder
    • 2 composition books
    • 1 box of clear sleeves in lieu of whiteboard
    • cardstock- variety of colors
    • 1 white board mini eraser
    • 1 pair of headphones
    • 1 box of fine tip black Sharpies
    • 24 pack of colored pencils
    • Pack of thin black fine tip Expo dry erase markers
    • 1 pencil box with the following items only:
    • 6 sharpened pencils (daily) Please consider having an electric pencil sharpener at home.
    • scissors
    • 1 highlighter
    • 1 pink eraser
    • 1 jumbo or 2 small glue sticks
    • 1 pencil sharpener with receptacle

    ***Please replenish supplies as needed. We are asking parents to send only the basic supplies. Do not
    send any toys or cute toy versions of supplies. We hope this will deter the students from sharing
    supplies.

    **As always, donations of the following items are always appreciated:

    Disinfecting wipes, cardstock- white and variety of colors, unscented baby wipes, credit card size magnets, gallon size baggies, copy paper,
    sandwich sized baggies, tissue, Paper towels, 70% Alcohol Wipes and copy paper.

    1- standard size pencil box

    1- box of 16 crayons
    4- highlighters, in different colors
    1- glue stick
    1- pair of student scissors
    1-Two-pocket plastic folder
    4- One subject spiral notebook, 11x8 ½ size COLLEGE RULE (NO COMPOSITION BOOKS)
    1- pair of wired headphones (NO bluetooth)

    5th Grade Supplies

    • Lined college-ruled notebook paper
    • Grid/Graph notebook for math notes/work (3)
    • No 2 pencils (5)
